Long season.

The Punchbowl team were chatting to the College Oak A team last night and we all agreed that this season has been too long. Maybe this can be discussed at the AGM along with some possible solutions. What do you blokes think?

This was actually brought up at the last meeting i also feel the season is too long but bodies need to turn up to the meetings and AGM to vote and put there point across unfortunately they don't , so it will probably stay the same .

26 matches is a long time but better than too short in my view. Could do with trimming down though......any ideas?

we currently have 26 teams Prem / A section 9 teams in each , b section 8 teams each league can be increased if new teams join .

also this may help regarding competitions running the play - offs ,team / singles pairs on seperate nights < might even get the chance to play somewhere other than the brewery tap ? >

When is the next meeting?

i have no problems with the length of the league. we only play one season per year as opposed to two like every other league in the area, and for that reason it makes it something different

Introducing a new league to make the present ones smaller is the answer for sure?
