With 6 games to go, we are well and truly in the business end of the season as teams push for the finishing line.

Barring a dramatic collapse of England batting proportions, the Premier Section title appears to be heading to the Cross Keys with Brewery Tap coming 2nd. Recent news is that bookmakers have closed the book on this title race and some have even paid out though The Keys may now push to concede less than 50 games by the end of the season. Prince Of Wales & Nuffield Arms appear to be fighting for 3rd though the College Oak B still have an outsiders chance. Crucially though, Prince Of Wales & College Oak B still have BYES to play making Nuffield Arms slight favourites to take 3rd place but College Oak B do have to play both.

Nuffield Arms last 6 games:

AWAY vs College Oak B
HOME vs Red Lion
AWAY vs Stocks Bar A
HOME vs Plough S/C
AWAY vs Midget B
HOME vs Punchbowl

Prince Of Wales last 6 games:

BYE
HOME vs College Oak B
AWAY vs Red Lion
HOME vs Stocks Bar A
AWAY vs Plough S/C
HOME vs Midget B

College Oak B's last 6 games:

HOME vs Nuffield Arms
AWAY vs Prince Of Wales
BYE
AWAY vs Boundary House
AWAY vs Red Lion
HOME vs Stocks Bar A

The race for Section A is wide open however with up to 5 teams still having a chance of finishing kings of the castle. Punchbowl lead the way by 3 points and are slight favourites at 5/2 having played their BYE. But the Kennington SC (3/1) & Boundary House (4/1) will feel they have a great chance and all 3 still have to play each other though the Boundary House still have their BYE to play. The Red Lion (6/1) & Midget (8/1) are outsiders in the race being 4 & 6 points behind respectively but The Red Lions & Boundary Houses's run ins appear slightly easier than the others.

Punchbowls last 6 games:

HOME vs Boundary House
AWAY vs Kennington SC
HOME vs College Oak A
AWAY vs Cross Keys A
HOME vs Brewery Tap A
AWAY vs Nuffield

Kennington SC's last 6 games:

AWAY vs Midget B
HOME vs Punchbowl
HOME vs Boundary House
AWAY vs College Oak A
HOME vs Cross Keys A
AWAY vs Brewery Tap A

Boundary Houses last 6 games:

AWAY vs Punchbowl
BYE
AWAY vs Kennington SC
HOME vs College Oak B
AWAY vs College Oak A
HOME vs Red Lion

Red Lions last 6 games:

HOME vs Brewery Tap A
AWAY vs Nuffield
HOME vs Prince Of Wales
BYE
HOME vs College Oak B
AWAY vs Boundary House

Midget B's last 6 games:

HOME vs Kennington SC
AWAY vs College Oak A
HOME vs Cross Keys A
AWAY vs Brewery Tap A
HOME vs Nuffield
AWAY vs Prince Of Wales

Can the Punchbowl hang on or will one of the chasing pack steal the victory at the final furlong? Who's your money on??

(can you tell how bored I am yet Question) lol!

Looks to me me that the Keys have got this years Premier section sewn up and that the battle is on for second place. My money would be on The Brewery Tap (shame they've been trying to catch up from the 9-0 decision at the start of the season...).

Section A on the otherhand is very close and the next few games will give an indication of the winner. I think it may be between the Punchbowl and Kennington SC given that they have already 'played' the byes. The showdown between them on March 23rd should prove to be a very interesting evening Question drunken

Don't rule out the The Boundary and the Red Lion though.....

**UPDATE**

College Oak B have kept themselves in the hunt for 3rd after a 5-4 win over the Nuffield and have another chance to haul themselves well into it ahead of their BYE with a win over rivals Prince of Wales. That result between the Nuffield & College Oak B was pretty good for the Prince of Wales themselves since Nuffield didn't take the lead by much and the College Oak didn't close it by much either.

If the race for Section A wasn't open before, its been blown wide open after last weeks results. Boundary House have closed the gap on the Punchbowl with a 5-4 victory over the section leaders. Midget B have dragged themselves back into it with a 5-4 victory over title chasing Kennington SC. Red Lion slip a place after a 7-2 loss against the Brewery Tap. With the Boundary House playing their BYE tonight and Kennington SC & Punchbowl going head to head tonight could see the defining moments of this section title race.
